Here is a picture of my awesome husband Chris trying his hardest to set up our booth at the Chicago Market. We had never done a show before so it was filled with much anticipation and a few trips to the nearby hardware store. Besides being short a few curtains, I think we had the right idea. Our first show! Aahhh! So exciting!!

Paula, Kaya, and Baby Nicole
We had our official photo shoot for Silly Monkey Baby last week! It was a gorgeous day and everything went so smoothly. Baby Nicole slept through hours of photos. It was unbelievable. The BabyHug really proved itself onset. We couldn’t be happier with the way the photos turned out.
After we wrapped up I grilled up some chicken kebab sandwiches for everyone!
Silly Monkey Baby, Inc. was started by my mom and I to ease the minds of all parents with a newborn. With their tiny little bodies and their wiggly frames, holding a baby can sometimes be difficult. When our daughter was born, the most uncomfortable feeling was watching someone else hold her incorrectly. Of course we would readjust arms and positions but inside we were cringing at the thought of someone breaking our little treasure.
It didn’t take long for my mom to come up with our original BabyHug, which made holding a baby SIMPLE! It was a brilliant idea that gave us a sense of relief. We knew we were not the only parents out there that felt anxious about others holding our little ones, so we knew we had to spread the hugs. My mom and I always dreamed of having a business of our own and we couldn’t be more excited for it to be this.
“Mama”, as everyone calls my mom, is an amazing woman with talent for everything. With five kids of her own, believe me, Mama knows best. She never sits down and has the incredible ability of drinking scolding hot tea like it’s a cold glass of water. Mama’s creative genius combined with many years of experience is a sure recipe for more neat and useful products soon to come your way.
I am also a mama to two of the cutest, funniest, and most energetic kiddies in the world. I talk fast, try to stay positive with anything that comes my way, and I’m thrilled to finally put all my years of knowledge to use.
